Mission Statement

Word Access believes all people deserve access to God’s design and purpose.  In accordance with that belief, we collaborate with the Deaf community to remove barriers to Christian resources so that the community can grow and thrive spiritually.

Statement of Faith

Word Access Believes

God:  There is one God that exists eternally in three persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Jesus: Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, and is both fully God and fully man. His lived a sinless life and died an atoning death. He is resurrected, ascended to the Father, and will return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit:  The Holy Spirit is fully God. He convicts, intercedes, guides, comforts and equips those who follow God.

Bible:  The Bible was given by God and is His inspired word.

The Church:  All believers are a part of the Universal Church.  Believers attend local churches where they disciple new believers, grow, and learn how to follow Christ.

People: We are created in the image of God. Sin separated us from God, but the atoning death of Jesus allows us to have salvation and a personal relationship with God.

Mission: As we grow in grace and truth to be more like Christ, we are commissioned to reach all people, making disciples, baptizing, and teaching others to walk in His ways.
